Training-HIPAA.net will be hosting a four-day HIPAA Compliance Training with Certified HIPAA Privacy Security Expert (CHPSE) training class in New York City, December 8 through 11, 2014. The training will prepare you for the CHPSE certification test.
The class will be an instructor-led class spanning four days. It runs from December 8 to December 11. Each day will be a full day of classes from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be served to the attendees every day. The training course will cover compliance requirements of the HIPAA legislation as well as changes to the regulations by the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act and the 2013 Omnibus Rule. The course will provide an understanding of federal programs in adopting electronic health records, the uses of social media, mobile technologies, and big data in healthcare, the requirements and implementation features within each security category of the Security portion of the act, and more. The classes will help you identify the elements of a compliance plan that every healthcare provider or business associate must develop in case of disaster to ensure business continuity and recovery. The class will cover a case study on Corrective Action Plans (CAP).
This course is recommended for HIPAA privacy officer, HIPAA security officer, HIPAA compliance team members, HIPAA consultant, HIPAA auditors, healthcare consultants, Software architect, software team lead, QA team lead, healthcare attorney, healthcare consultants, and all business associates who need to have a clear understanding on how the regulation affects their business and how they need to company as per the business associate agreement.
